End Exam production prep
For our main project, we decided as a group that we would be making a movie. In order to agree on a genre we had to way up some possible opening minute ideas for each one and then decide which one would be most realistic in terms of financial and effects, after a while of thinking and exchanging ideas we were able to come to an agreement for a mixture of thriller and action. Our opening minutes are going to be based of planning of a heist.

Love thy neighbour
Love thy neighbour
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9j6l7Va-C7E
Love thy neighbour is a comedy based TV program set in the 1970s about a extremely racist white man and his newly dark skinned neighbour. You are able to see clearly that there are stereotypes, the main one being the "racist Englishman". Eddie ( the white man ) continuously makes offensive comments towards Bill and his wife, the most common would be him calling them "nig nog" which is another way of calling him a nigger, he also states his wishes to send them back to Africa, showing the typical level of tolerance from a English person 40 years ago.
There is also a counter-type in this show as well, Eddie believes to be the man of the house and that he has more power than his wife and can tell her what to do. He commands that she does not attend Bill's party, yet she ends up going and Eddie does nothing about it. The reason for this being a counter-type is because women during that time would probably obey their husbands and would have minimal freedom but as we can see Eddie's wife in this show never really listens to him and does what she wants.
